North Pole Christmas Trip
The best gifts aren’t objects--they’re experiences. So throw away that expensive Frozen doll and Lego Star Wars set you’ve bought, because your kids are going to hate them. Instead, give your kids the gift of a Christmas memory they will never forget, no matter how hard they try.
Our North Pole Trip is an all-inclusive, once-in-a-lifetime trip for your kids to the “ground zero” of Christmas: the North Pole! Departing from Murmansk, Russia, in mid-December, your kids will travel to the polar icecap on the diesel-powered icebreaker Kapitan Belousov. Then, they’ll trek on foot for 5-10 days, depending on how slow they walk and how well they can see in the dark. (There is no daylight at the North Pole between October and March!)
By Christmas morning, kids with a good sense of direction will have reached the North Pole. And when they find a bleak expanse of ice and wind instead of Santa and his elves, they’ll learn an important lesson about truth, myth and deceit that will last them a lifetime.
