Escape the Pharaoh’s Curse, with our Golden Scarab!
Challenge yourself to “escape the curse” of a vengeful pharaoh as he uses his ancient and mystical powers from beyond the grave to destroy you and everyone you love.
In 1902, amateur British Egyptologist Lord Simon Rathbone excavated the remote desert tomb of Pharaoh Ankh-Uht-Lak, ransacking it and using the pharaoh’s bitumen-soaked mummy as fuel for his steamship on the way back to Oxford. But Rathbone never reached Oxford. While steaming up the reed-choked Nile, he fell victim to a fast-moving fever whose heat literally charred his skin. As he writhed in his bunk, screaming in pain, he begged forgiveness for stealing the pharaoh’s most treasured possession – a golden scarab.
Ever since then, everyone who has come into possession of the scarab has perished under mysterious and unsettling circumstances. Most recently, a stock boy at our warehouse was found after an overnight shift with the scarab clutched in his lifeless and desiccated hand, his mouth frozen in a rictus of terror and his lungs filled with sand.
